Lyra Callisto
Lyra joined our family as our first Golden Retriever in October of 2016 at the age of 10 weeks old. She's been a real rock for us while we added 3 babies, pigs, chickens, her best friend (Calypso, the Maine Coon Cat), and of course, Lyra's litters.
With 28 babies 'under her belt' and another litter expected any day, Lyra is one heck of a great mom. She's always happiest playing with her pups in the yard, no matter the weather, and loves meeting the new families as they come to meet with her and her puppies.
Her puppies adopt her sense of kindness and empathy, and are all the better for it!

Andromeda "Andy" Tyrannis
Andy is a puppy from Lyra's third litter in 2021. She's a high energy, kind-hearted, trouble maker living up to the Golden Retriever's stereotypical "T-Rex" teenage years.
She loves to be outside, specifically in the water (or mud) as much as possible, and loves to be as close to the children as they'll let her get. If she had it her way, she'd be pet all day long, or on long walks for miles and miles to smell all the new smells and explore every body of water, no matter how shallow the puddles may be.
Andy loves to hang out at Chris' office, lounging around in the air conditioning and chasing the ball Chris and his coworkers toss around for her.
